Hot time, Summer Fundraising in the City!
Summertime, and the living is... pricey!
In celebration of the 1-year anniversary of the Met Society receiving our 501(c)3 nonprofit status, we thought it was time for another fundraising campaign! Since the start of the year, we have managed to make big strides in building our team, improving our podcast developing our research, strengthening our partnerships and so much more.
Our excellent team of staff and researchers have made heroic volunteer efforts so far. But to keep going, we need YOUR HELP to pay our staff, pay for our office space and keep our little operation going. Our work is free to the public, but it isn't free to create! You make it possible!
Generous donors in the past were responsible for many great NYC projects ... Like Central Park!
From 2016 to 2017 - DC to NYC
It ain't Foggy Bottom... yet
It was just one year ago that the Met Society received its certification as a non-profit organization, in the middle of a contentious presidential contest. We've come a long way since then, growing our membership, our team and our programming, but there's so much more to do!
The 2016 presidential election will have far-reaching effects on US foreign policy, with lots of potential changes and global opportunities for New York. And this year, in 2017, we have a mayoral election right here in The City. The future of American and Metropolitan foreign policy is unfolding right in front of us, and with your help, we will be right there with it
We need your help!
Building a new approach to foreign policy for the most complex city and the most influential country in the world isn't easy work, and it doesn't come free. We need YOUR HELP to ensure that we can continue our hard work.
Whether it's $5 or $50 or $5,000, your contributions matter to us! Please support the Met Society to help us advance.
Concrete Jungle where Your Donation Matters!
Your tax-deductible donation pays for our work!
We've been endorsed by other smart New Yorkers, like this guy, Ian Bremmer. And he does foreign policy for a living, so you should believe him
And he does stuff with Charlie Rose, who's another smart New Yorker. I think you see a theme here....
The subways may not be working so well these days, but with your help, we will be!
